Announcing our participation in Merama’s recent $60M Series A funding.
We are pleased to announce our participation in Merama’s recent $60M Series A funding round. This was one of Mexico’s largest Series A funding rounds ever and was co-led by Valor, Monashees, Balderton – leading international and regional funds. Alongside Concentric, other funds such as Partech, Triplepoint, Maya Ventures and Tectonic also participated.
Merama, an e-commerce startup focused on Latin America, partners with e-commerce product sellers in Latin America by purchasing a stake in the businesses and working with their teams to help them “exponentially” grow and boost their technology while providing them with nondilutive working capital.
We are excited to be part of Merama’s journey. This is also the second time we have backed CEO, Sujay Tyle, who was previously Co-founder of Frontier Car Group, a Concentric portfolio company, which exited in November 2019.
